Dr Bhuvanagiri has been involved in community service since 1999. He has worked on
improving communication with BME communities with local services, health and employment
and crime prevention. He has also worked with several major charitable organisations to
introduce the Indian culture and heritage thereby improving the integrity and relationship
within the community. Dr Bhuvanagiri has introduced awards schemes for children who are
performing well in Arts, Education and Sports. These initiatives are helping to boost the
confidence in children and motivating them to achieve the best of themselves.

Dr Bhuvanagiri has also aided the community during difficult times. He has arranged funerals
and gathered help from the community for the deceased family and arranged transportation
of the deceased to India, including all administration that was needed by the Indian Embassy.
Dr Bhuvanagiri has also helped students and campaigned for a reduction in Tuition Fees.
He believes in community diversity and supports the cause irrespective of the Community Faiths.
