KOJO MARFO, BCAa
Kojo, aged 29, found his passion for the creative arts six years ago whilst studying aerospace engineering at Coventry University. He curated a bespoke production called My Runway Show, which merges different elements of creative arts powered by an annual theme that empowers young people.
Kojo has managed to diversify his platform into a three-fold operational body that gives opportunities to young people via his creative production; inspires and equips with his youth development seminars, workshops and projects across UK; and community charity project by donating food and clothing items to the homeless people at St Mungo’s Shelter every year in December.
He finances everything, and even after a series of losses, still believes a payback isn’t always financial. Kojo also curates masterclasses and creative workshops such as film industry nights with BFI and fashion with Condé Nast.
His nominator said: “Working with Kojo I have realised he is very resilient. He never gives up and has single-handedly overseen all the creative arts projects he has successfully launched and executed”.
